If you could imagine, I am presented with about every question you could expect about Scentsy. Most concern facts about the product, how they work, how long it takes to receive an order and safety issues.

One question does stand out above all, and I'd like to take the time now to give everyone as much information as possible about this question:

"How much will the Taxes be, and what about Shipping and Handling?"

TAXES:

First, let me address the taxes on your order. Scentsy by law charges taxes based on the state you reside in. This is called "Use Tax". Some companies charge a tax from their own state that they are headquartered in. In order to keep you out of Dutch with your states Dept of Revenue, Scentsy calculates the taxes on Scentsy products as if you purchased them in your own state and then pays that state the taxes due on your behalf.

SHIPPING & HANDLING:

Shipping is another big question I encounter frequently. Based on size and weight of your products, Scentsy actually charges less on Shipping and Handling because of the volume of business they conduct and pass that savings on to you!! 

Below is the actual shipping charges applied to a range of dollar amounts spent versus the cost of shipping that amount in the terms below. These shipping and handling charges are to assure you receive your products in a timely, undamaged manner and can also be found on the Scentsy's Car and Freshness website upon checkout:

Orders of $0-$79.99 (USD) that ship within the 48 contiguous United States pay a flat $8.00 shipping fee 

Orders of $80-$149.99 (USD) that ship within the 48 contiguous United States pay a 10% shipping fee (i.e. $90 order pays a $9 shipping fee)

 Orders of $150 (USD) or more that ship within the 48 contiguous United States ship for FREE Orders of $0-$49.99 (USD) that ship outside the 48 contiguous United States pay a flat $10.00 shipping fee 

Orders of $50-$149.99 (USD) that ship outside the 48 contiguous United States pay a 20% shipping fee (i.e. $70 order pays $14 shipping) 

Orders of $150 (USD) or more that ship outside the 48 contiguous United States pay a 10% shipping fee (i.e. $170 order pays $17 shipping)

Addressing questions everyday about product and which works best, how long will it last, why can't I smell my favorite Scentsy Bar any more, why does the fragrance seem like it only last for a few hours? I've noticed that not everything is explainable in the in the questions submitted but this one is very easy.

First off, Scentsy fragrances last longer than any on the market. Fact! "Well, how come I can't smell it as strong as it was when I first started on that fragrance?" The answer to this is olfactory senses.

For example, you visit a friend who has invited you over for dinner. Upon arrival you smell the great odor from the food being prepared. After a short chat and a cup of coffee before you eat, you've noticed the smell has decreased, and then of course after you begin to eat, the smell succumbs to taste. 

No, there's nothing wrong with your "sniffer". LOL. What is happening is known as "olfactory fatigue" or "olfactory adaptation". This is quite normal and is the temporary normal ability of your nose not being able to distinguish a particular odor after prolonged exposure to it.

Like your favorite Scentsy Fragrance, your nose has gotten use to the fragrance and although you can't smell it as strong as you did the first time you used it, believe me your company will, and it will be as strong as your first time to them. 

Scentsy stocks over 80 of your favorite fragrances! I personally don't use the same fragrance for over 30 days because of the olfactory senses succumbing to the particular fragrance to the point it is no longer distinguishable as it was when I first used it. Scentsy recommends changing your fragrance every 30 days because of this fact. 

With over 80 fragrances to choose from, you can rotate your favorite every other month. And, although we love our favorite, your guest will notice your favorite fragrances too, just as strong and good smelling as you did the first time you began to use them.

With all said and done, there is nothing wrong with the fragrance, it's working just fine, your olfactory senses have just gotten immune to them and it tricks you to thinking it's not as strong as it was when you first started. So give your favorite a rest and check out the over 80 different fragrances Scentsy has to offer to give your olfactory senses a break and then simply return to your favorite of all the fragrances the following month! Problem solved.
